Lelle Alternatiiv 2010 took place on 9th-11th July.
The naturally beautiful Imsi hill- and lake side plaid host for Lelle Alternatiiv music festival already for the seventh time. This time Lelle Alternatiiv spanned for three days offering an extravagant assortment of entertainment throughout the entire weekend. 100 artists, including surprise acts of a slightly unusual nature for a rock festival, gladdened the audience on four massive stages. Cacophonics is a four piece Latvian punk band formed in November 2002. Bands genre is pop punk/powerpop influenced by hardcore, nu metal and postgrunge wave, mixed together with socially active lyrics.
During the years Cacophonics has become one of the leading bands on Latvian underground rock scene, some of the songs have been included in several international punkrock compilations and have had good success in leading Latvian mainstream radio station charts.
Until now the band has released 3 unofficial demo CDs, EP “Punkology” and 6 singles.
On December 2009 Cacophonics made their first video “Currency of Dreams” and on 2010 the band has started working on their new album.
