Lelle Alternatiiv 2007
The fourth Lelle Alternatiiv festival was held on 6th and 7th of July 2007 in its already traditional location in Lelle, Rapla County, in the hills on the Imsi lakeside. For the first time it was a two-day event with 33 bands, over 150 musicians and over 900 spectators.
The first anxious visitors, a mixed group of people from different countries from all over Europe, showed up already at 11 o’clock in the morning on Friday. By 6 pm, when the first band started, the hills were already covered with tents and a spectacular crowd of cheerful people.
The Friday lineup consisted of: Varuväljapääs, the BLK, Paha Polly, Kuke Protest, Streptococcus Pyogenes, John Stuart Mill, Vaiko Eplik ja Eliit, Kognito, Raske Rukis, Sick Dog, Witche's Brew, Leix.
The weather was great too as thin clouds kept the temperature on the mild side and allowed people to rock on until 2 am, when the music was followed by night cinema with student films. Although the new morning dawned soon, there were guitars playing all around the festival area long into the next day.
The Saturday lineup kicked off at 12 AM and included bands like When The Glory Fades, Koosh ProYo, Maleklubi, The Lost Highway, Only In Here, Orion, die moritz, Crashdaf, Groundhog Day, Fish On Fire, Malena, Vespera, Pimpfish, Steel Scream, Taak, Börte, The Nymph, off.season, Spido, Rockcrime, troubletec. The day passed and turned into a night accompanied by all the bands and cheerful spectators and even a few drops of rain did not manage to spoil the atmosphere. The bands went on until half past two in the morning after which there were guitars playing all around the festival area for many hours.
